ARÓ Architects is an RIAI registered practise dedicated to delivering high quality, contemporary architecture. The practice was founded in 2022 by Ailish Walker and Róisín Power who have a shared passion for creative and well considered design. ARÓ work across a number of architectural typologies including residential, hospitatlity, retail and fitout projects.

Director

Ailish qualified with a Masters Degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture, Planning & Environmental Policy in University College Dublin in 2015 and has gone on to work with award winning practices across Europe including Herzog + de Meuron in Switzerland, POLO Architects in Belgium, and Ireland’s largest architectural practice, Henry J Lyons Architects. Ailish was an Associate Architect with Henry J Lyons for 7 years delivering high-end projects, including residential schemes, commercial buildings, universities, hotels and interior fit out design schemes before establishing Aró Architects.

R ó i s í n P o w e r

Director

 

Róisín graduated from Architectural Technology in the Dublin Institute of Technology in 2010 before gaining further qualifications in a Masters in Architecture in University College Dublin, graduating in 2015.

After graduating Róisín gained expertise working in the Office of Public Works, DMVF and Henry J Lyons. Róisín has successfully completed a number of projects ranging from shop fit-outs, residential extensions and new builds to National Monuments.

Róisín holds an RIAI accreditation in Health and Safety.
